How do I get the CSM Exam link from ScrumAlliance?

To access the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) exam link from ScrumAlliance, please follow these steps:

Complete the CSM Workshop: Ensure active participation with your video on, and do not miss more than 30 minutes of the session.
Complete all the Learning Objectives: This includes completing all the pre-workshop work, all the topics covered during the workshop, and the homework. Please confirm to us that you've completed.
Consent for Information Sharing: Due to GDPR regulations, we require your consent to share your details with ScrumAlliance. During the workshop, you will receive an email titled "Welcome to the Scrum Practitioner's Club." Please click on the "Workshop Feedback" link in this email and provide your consent. Please complete this before you drop the session.
Recommendation to ScrumAlliance: We will submit your name (First Name, Last Name, and Email ID used during registration) to ScrumAlliance, typically within one hour. Max 48 hours.
Receive Exam Access Email: Look for an email from system at scrumalliance.org containing instructions and the link to access the CSM exam.
Log In to Your ScrumAlliance Account: The exam link or access instructions will be available on your account dashboard.
Contact Support if Needed: If you encounter any issues or cannot find the exam link, first check your spam folder. If the email is still not found, please contact us for support at info at agileforgrowth.com.

When will I get the Zoom link?

The Zoom link is emailed a day prior to the workshop usually 12-18 hours before the start of the workshop.

Before you can get the zoom link, ensure you've replied to our first email with a word 'confirm' and also ensure you've added our email in your contacts.

For the workshops organized by Agile For Growth, this email with zoom link will come from info at agileforgrowth.com.

This email also has some valuable information about the workshop and instructions about during and post workshop.

In case if you don't see the zoom link emailed to you by 6 pm ET (New York time), please email to info at agileforgrowth.com with your workshop date and registeration information.

How long is the CSM Certification Valid? Does it Expire?

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification is valid for two years. After two years, you can renew it in two easy ways.

If you take other ScrumAlliance.org certifications such as CSPO, ACSM etc.. while your CSM is still active, your CSM will automatically be renewed for another two years from the date you earn your CSPO/ACSM.

Alternately,

Claim 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) on the ScrumAlliance.org portal inside your Dashboard, pay $100 directly to the ScrumAlliance to renew your CSM Certification and ScrumAlliance.org Membership for two years.

While, renewing the CSM Certification isn't mandatory, however, it's highly recommended to continue be recognized in your field as a Certified ScrumMaster and continue to enjoy ScrumAlliance's Membership benefits.

The answers to the Quiz questions can be found directly in the Scrum Guide.

The Scrum Quiz is designed to be a mock test, to give you an exam like experience.

We do not provide answers to it as that does not improve your overall Scrum knowledge or preparedeness for the exam.

A score below 74% on the Scrum Quiz suggests room for improvement. To enhance your understanding of the Scrum Framework, please review the provided materials, including the Scrum Guide, before attempting the Scrum Quiz again.

Yes. Keeping your Camera on throughout the workhsop is essential.

Our CSM Workshop is an interactive and engaging learning experience.

In order to ensure that all participants get the most out of the workshop, we kindly request that you keep your video camera on throughout the sessions.

There are several important reasons why we ask participants to keep their cameras on during the workshop.

Firstly, this is a highly interactive workshop where you'll have the opportunity to work in teams and practice Scrum. Seeing each other's faces and body language helps to foster a sense of connection and engagement that is essential for effective teamwork. When everyone has their cameras on, it creates a more inclusive and collaborative learning environment.

Secondly, keeping your camera on helps to maintain your focus and attention during the workshop. It's all too easy to become distracted or multitask when you're not visible to others, which can result in missing important information or falling behind in group activities. When everyone is visible on camera, it helps to create a sense of accountability and encourages active participation.

Thirdly, we've found that participants tend to learn best when they can see and interact with their fellow participants. When you can see and hear the experiences, perspectives, and questions of others, it can help to broaden your own understanding of the concepts and principles we're exploring in the workshop.

Lastly, Keeping your video on helps the facilitator gauge the energy and participation in the room and adapt the session and breaks. Also, the facilitator would be comfortable to recommend a participants name to ScrumAlliance for the next stepsk, after seeing them actively engage during the session.

We understand that some people may feel uncomfortable being on camera, and we want to assure you that we'll create a safe and supportive learning environment where everyone is respected and valued.

How do I take the CSM Exam?

The CSM Exam is conducted by ScrumAlliance and it's a fully online exam. You can take the exam from the comfort of your home at a time of the day that's convenient for you.

You don't need to go anywhere.

You don't need to book any slot.

There is no proctoring.

Video camera is not required during the exam.

Do you provide Job Search Assistance?

We do not provide any job assistance or job assurance.

We are happy to guide you to get in to Scrum Master role.

You are welcome to raise any job search related questions to your CSM Trainer. Your trainer will provide you guidance based on vast experience and helping many participants get in to Scrum Master roles.

As this discussion is not part of the CSM Workshop agenda, such questions and discussions can be raised after the workshop is over. Please stay back immediately after the workshop and discuss your query with your trainer.

Will there be breaks during the session?

Absolutely! We understand the importance of breaks.

In our full-day, 2-day sessions, each day includes 2 x 20-minute coffee breaks and a 45-minute lunch break.

For the half-day, 3-day sessions, each day features 2 x 20-minute breaks.

During the workshop, we'll be viewing some short videos. Feel free to turn off your camera, stand up, and stretch while watching.

If you have any specific needs, feel free to discuss them with your facilitator in advance / as soon as you can. We'll do our best to accommodate them.

How can I get a receipt of my payment?

When you make payment online via Eventbrite.com or AgileForGrowth.com to register for any of our workshops, the receipt of your payment is emailed to your immediately and automatically.

If you paid via Zelle, you'll need to ask for a receipt at the time of the payment itself. Creating your specific receipt in this case is a manual step and you'll need to have a bit of patience to allow us to create this manual receipt and email you. Usually we may do that within 3 working days.

How can I make a part payment?

We offer part payment option to help make it easy for you to register for our workshop now and pay over a time.

Total Payment when paid all at once: All inclusive Regular Registration: (540 + fees) = USD 562, Spl. Discounted Registration for unemployed: USD 100 discount to the regular registration.

Part Payment:

Registration Amount of USD 425 + 18 (fees) = USD 443 can be split in two payments.

For Example:

Part I Payment: USD 275 + fees = USD 290

Part II Payment: USD 150 + fees = USD 162

If you are unemployed at the time of paying Part I payment and continue to be unemployed at the time of paying 2nd Part Payment. We'll be happy to offer you $80 unemployed discount to help with your financial situation. This discount can be deducted while making Part II payment.

Can I turn off the video camera to nurse my infant?

Absolutely, you can turn off your camera to attend to personal needs like nursing your infant. We understand the importance of these moments.

If you anticipate needing the camera off for more than 30 minutes during the session, please let your trainer know in advance.

Additionally, our 2-day workshop includes scheduled breaks where you can comfortably turn off your camera:

2 x 20-minute coffee breaks
1 x 45-minute lunch break
Short video segments (approximately 2-4 minutes each) where turning off your camera is also fine.

How soon can I appear for the CSM Exam?

Accepted Answer

After successfully completing the workshop, we'll recommend your name to the Scrum Alliance within an hour. You will then receive an email from them with a link to the CSM exam. You can take the exam online at your convenience, from your home or office, as soon as you're ready. You have 90-days to take this exam after your workshop ends.

For example, On Day 2, if your workshop finishes at 5 pm and you receive the Scrum Alliance email by 6 pm, you could potentially start the CSM exam right away. This means you could earn your CSM Certification by 7 pm, download a high-resolution PDF of your certificate, and start sharing your achievement the same evening.

Your dinner that evening could be a celebration dinner :)

As long as you actively participate and go through the materials according to our guidelines, it would be difficult for you to fail the CSM Exam.
