Are there any pre-requisites to taking this CSM Workshop and earning the CSM Certification?

There are no pre-requisites to attending and earning your Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification. We've trained and certified fresh college graduates, professionals, experienced managers and CEOs of Large-Scale organizations.

Scrum Master role is not specific to IT industry and no Technical Skills are needed to perform this role.

You make the best judgement of your existing level of education, skills, experience if you'll be able to benefit from learning Scrum and the role of the Scrum Master.

Question 2

Can I get the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification only and not attend the Workshop?

Accepted Answer

To qualify for the CSM Certification it is essential (mandatory) to attend a Certified ScrumMaster Workshop with a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). A CST is approved by ScrumAlliance to offer such workshop and qulify the participants to appear for the CSM Exam. Once you appear for the CSM Exam and pass it, you earn the Certified ScrumMaster Certification right away.

Can I turn off the video camera to nurse my infant?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, you can turn off your camera to attend to personal needs like nursing your infant. We understand the importance of these moments.

If you anticipate needing the camera off for more than 30 minutes during the session, please let your trainer know in advance.

Additionally, our 2-day workshop includes scheduled breaks where you can comfortably turn off your camera:

2 x 20-minute coffee breaks
1 x 45-minute lunch break
Short video segments (approximately 2-4 minutes each) where turning off your camera is also fine.

Question 5

Can two participants join the workshop from one (same) device?

Accepted Answer

To ensure you are able to actively participate in group activities, it is important that every participants logs in from different device.

If two participants login from a different device but from the same room, it could create an echo, hindering your ability to contribute.

In the past, family members attending the same workshop have chosen different rooms to ensure their active and independent participation. That ensured both qualified for the CSM Exam :)

Do you provide Job Search Assistance?

We do not provide any job assistance or job assurance.

We are happy to guide you to get in to Scrum Master role.

You are welcome to raise any job search related questions to your CSM Trainer. Your trainer will provide you guidance based on vast experience and helping many participants get in to Scrum Master roles.

As this discussion is not part of the CSM Workshop agenda, such questions and discussions can be raised after the workshop is over. Please stay back immediately after the workshop and discuss your query with your trainer.

Our CSM Workshop is an interactive and engaging learning experience.

In order to ensure that all participants get the most out of the workshop, we kindly request that you keep your video camera on throughout the sessions.

There are several important reasons why we ask participants to keep their cameras on during the workshop.

Firstly, this is a highly interactive workshop where you'll have the opportunity to work in teams and practice Scrum. Seeing each other's faces and body language helps to foster a sense of connection and engagement that is essential for effective teamwork. When everyone has their cameras on, it creates a more inclusive and collaborative learning environment.

Secondly, keeping your camera on helps to maintain your focus and attention during the workshop. It's all too easy to become distracted or multitask when you're not visible to others, which can result in missing important information or falling behind in group activities. When everyone is visible on camera, it helps to create a sense of accountability and encourages active participation.

Thirdly, we've found that participants tend to learn best when they can see and interact with their fellow participants. When you can see and hear the experiences, perspectives, and questions of others, it can help to broaden your own understanding of the concepts and principles we're exploring in the workshop.

Lastly, Keeping your video on helps the facilitator gauge the energy and participation in the room and adapt the session and breaks.
