How long is the CSM Certification Valid? Does it Expire?

Accepted Answer

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification is valid for two years. After two years, you can renew it in two easy ways.

If you take other ScrumAlliance.org certifications such as CSPO, ACSM etc.. while your CSM is still active, your CSM will automatically be renewed for another two years from the date you earn your CSPO/ACSM.

Alternately,

Claim 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) on the ScrumAlliance.org portal inside your Dashboard, pay $100 directly to the ScrumAlliance to renew your CSM Certification and ScrumAlliance.org Membership for two years.

While, renewing the CSM Certification isn't mandatory, however, it's highly recommended to continue be recognized in your field as a Certified ScrumMaster and continue to enjoy ScrumAlliance's Membership benefits.

How long would it take to get my refund?

Accepted Answer

If you were confirmed that we are issuing you a Refund, it usually takes 8-15 business days for the credit to reflect in your account. The refund is a manual process for us. The refunded amount goes through many organizations in this process (most of this is out of our hands).

While most of the times, the refund my get credited much sooner. Please be patient if it takes 8-15 business days.

Whether you registeration is eligible for refund or not can be checked in the Terms of the Registration.

I got lower score on the Scrum Quiz, can I get answers?

The answers to the Quiz questions can be found directly in the Scrum Guide.

The Scrum Quiz is designed to be a mock test, to give you an exam like experience.

We do not provide answers to it as that does not improve your overall Scrum knowledge or preparedeness for the exam.

A score below 74% on the Scrum Quiz suggests room for improvement. To enhance your understanding of the Scrum Framework, please review the provided materials, including the Scrum Guide, before attempting the Scrum Quiz again.

Before the Workshop: We provide you answers for all the Scrum Prep Quiz questions along with explanations.

During the Workshop: There are many mini knowledge checks in the form of True-False, Fill-In-the-Blank, Yes/No, Rapid-Fire-Questions, and real-world scenarios and we provide you correct answers to each of those questions.

I have a bit of hearing loss, can I get close captions?

Yes. In fact any participant can request to turn on the close captions available in zoom.

I've not received the Scrum Quiz scores, how can I get my score?

Accepted Answer

The Scrum Quiz score emails are sent automatically (and immediately) via the system. If you don't see the email in your inbox,

You may want to check in your spam / bulk folder.
Try using a personal (gmail id) to take the test again. Ocassionally corporate emails, hotmail, yahoo may block our emails.
If you’ve not already, add our email ( info at agileforgrowth dot com) in your email contacts before taking the test to ensure our emails land in your inbox.

As mentioned in the Scrum Quiz Terms, we don't share the email manually. Hence, please avoid sending us email about it.

In the worst case, you may take the Scrum Quiz again (takes 8-10 minutes and also improves your confidence) using a different email id.

Is keeping my Camera On a must to participate in CSM Workshop?

Yes. Keeping your Camera on throughout the workhsop is essential.

Our CSM Workshop is an interactive and engaging learning experience.

In order to ensure that all participants get the most out of the workshop, we kindly request that you keep your video camera on throughout the sessions.

There are several important reasons why we ask participants to keep their cameras on during the workshop.

Firstly, this is a highly interactive workshop where you'll have the opportunity to work in teams and practice Scrum. Seeing each other's faces and body language helps to foster a sense of connection and engagement that is essential for effective teamwork. When everyone has their cameras on, it creates a more inclusive and collaborative learning environment.

Secondly, keeping your camera on helps to maintain your focus and attention during the workshop. It's all too easy to become distracted or multitask when you're not visible to others, which can result in missing important information or falling behind in group activities. When everyone is visible on camera, it helps to create a sense of accountability and encourages active participation.

Thirdly, we've found that participants tend to learn best when they can see and interact with their fellow participants. When you can see and hear the experiences, perspectives, and questions of others, it can help to broaden your own understanding of the concepts and principles we're exploring in the workshop.

Lastly, Keeping your video on helps the facilitator gauge the energy and participation in the room and adapt the session and breaks. Also, the facilitator would be comfortable to recommend a participants name to ScrumAlliance for the next stepsk, after seeing them actively engage during the session.

We understand that some people may feel uncomfortable being on camera, and we want to assure you that we'll create a safe and supportive learning environment where everyone is respected and valued.

Please ensure you test your camera and mic before the session.

Is the CSM Exam and Certification Included with my registration?

Yes, Your registeration with Agile For Growth Inc includes:

Two attempts to the CSM Exam (conduced online by ScrumAlliance.org) and upon passing the CSM Exam you earn
the Certified ScrumMaster Certification from ScrumAlliance.org

Unable to open the links in the email. Access to links is blocked

First - Our links are safe and have been accessed by 5000+ participants across the globe without any challenge.

Second - We acknowledge that some participants have faced this challenge due to their corporate email server, corporate firewalls, Microsoft Defender flagging these links as suspicious or malicious. If you are getting Suspicious / Malicious Links error and unable to access the links you may want to try below:

a- Avoid using Outlook Email App, rather forward our email from your corporate email id to your personal email id (such as: gmail)

b- Try accessing the emails from your personal internet rather than corporate internet.

c- Turn off the corporate firewall if any, if you using your corporate device. Prefer a personal laptop if the corporate device is blocking the links.

d- Try accessing the links in our email using Chrome / Safari / Firefox browsers. Avoid Microsoft browsers.

You'll need to spend 3-4 hours (sometimes more) to get ready for the workshop. The more you come prepared to the workshop - the more value you'll be able to get from the workshop.

A day later, you'll also get our email with additional resources.

The Zoom link and instructions to join the workshop will be emailed 1 day (usually 12-18 hours) before the workshop.

Offline Registrations:
